How to personalize your Instagram page?

After creating your account, it’s time to edit your profile and personalize your Instagram page. You need to complete the information on your new account to present yourself better in this space and make it easier for others to identify you.
Personalizing Your Instagram Account
If you want your Instagram account to be a personal account where only certain people can see its content with your approval, you need to tap the settings icon on your profile page, located in the top right corner. Touch the “Settings” option and then tap on “Privacy.”
On the next page, activate the “Private account” option by tapping “Switch to private.”
Customizing Your Instagram Profile
On the “Edit profile” page, you can change information such as profile picture, name, and username and add a website and bio. Change Instagram profile picture
To change your Instagram profile picture, tap on the “Edit profile” button. At the top of this page, by selecting “Change profile photo” located below your current profile picture, you can change your profile picture.
After tapping on “Change profile photo,” Instagram provides you with three options:

- Import from Facebook: This option allows you to add a profile photo from your Facebook page.
- Remove Profile Photo: If you want to remove your profile picture, select this option.
Choose one of these options based on your goal. In this example, we selected the “New Profile Photo” option to replace the current profile picture with an image from our gallery. After selecting the image from the gallery, tap on the arrow in the page’s top right corner to continue.
On the next page, you will have the option to edit and choose filters for your photo. If desired, edit the photo and click on the arrow in the top right corner of the page to finalize the image change.
Changing Your Instagram Account Name and Username
Go to the “Edit profile” page to change your name and username. Note that Instagram only allows changing the username twice; after that, you must wait 14 days to change it again.
To change your name, tap on the box next to “Name,” delete the current name, and enter a new name.
To change your username, touch the box next to “Username,” delete the current username, and enter a new username.
Remember to tap on the checkmark icon in the top right corner to save the changes.
Adding a Website and Bio to Your Instagram Account
If you want to add your website address, go to the “Edit profile” page and tap on the box next to “Website,” then enter the website address.
Additionally, if you’d like to add a brief description of yourself to your profile, tap on the box next to “Bio” and type the desired text.
Tap the checkmark icon in the top right corner to save the changes.
Editing Personal Information on Instagram Account
The Personal Information section is where your details are recorded. These details will not be displayed on your public profile. Personal Information, including birthday, gender, phone number, and email, is recommended to be completed by users. On your profile page, tap the settings icon in the top right corner and select “Settings.” In the settings menu, choose the “Account” option and then navigate to the “Personal Information” section.
You can add your mobile number or email to your personal profile on this page. After adding either of them, you’ll need to enter the verification code sent by Instagram to your mobile number or email to finalize the mobile number registration or email in your account.
In the Gender section, you can specify your gender or leave it unspecified. In the Birthday section, you can also edit your birthdate.
