Editing Personal Information on Instagram Account
The Personal Information section is where your details are recorded. These details will not be displayed on your public profile. Personal Information, including birthday, gender, phone number, and email, is recommended to be completed by users. If you want to improve your Instagram account’s manageability and make it more discoverable to others, follow these tips., it’s better to fill in the email and phone number sections.
On your profile page, tap the settings icon in the top right corner and select “Settings.” In the settings menu, choose the “Account” option and then navigate to the “Personal Information” section.
You can add your mobile number or email to your personal profile on this page. After adding either of them, you’ll need to enter the verification code sent by Instagram to your mobile number or email to finalize the mobile number registration or email in your account.
In the Gender section, you can specify your gender or leave it unspecified. In the Birthday section, you can also edit your birthdate.
